Use this visualization exercise to address all the parts inside of you that feel hurt, stuck, helpless, alone and afraid, and give them the compassion, unconditional love and presence you did not receive as a little child. The exercise helps with grieving all that you did not receive and with addressing your needs and validating them. It helps you to create a sense of safety inside of yourself, soothe the little you and become the present and emotionally mature parent that you so needed while growing up.

What is a visualization exercise?
A visualization exercise is a self-inquiry and self-integration (or healing) exercise that brings you into a receptive and investigative state of being from which you can make contact with your subconscious mind, (re)discover who you truly are, and resolve, heal and integrate blockages and suffering at the root.

How to listen to a visualization exercise?
There is no right or wrong when doing a visualization exercise. So, when you are being asked to visualize something, just work with what comes up first. If you can't visualize images, then work with feelings, words or colors. All is good! Place yourself in a quiet area where you can’t be disturbed, make it yourself comfortable, don’t get too warm or too cold, sit down or lie down and put on some headphones. Close your eyes, let my voice guide you and surrender to the journey.
